Mr. Chinedu Okpareke holds a Bachelor’s degree (First-class Honors) in Electronic & Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri. He also has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (USA), where he majored in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management; as a Wharton scholar, he was selected as an Exchange Fellow at INSEAD (Singapore Campus) where he got a third major in Marketing.

He started his career as a systems and network engineer with Telnet (now iTECO), where he designed and built the first IP based network in Nigeria. He has since worked with Exxon Mobil, Oando PLC, Sahara Group and Imo State Government. He is an Advisory member to several other start-up companies in Agriculture, Real estate, Education and Healthcare sectors where he has utilized his wealth of international and cross-functional experience in supporting the strategic and tactical objectives of these companies

Mr. Okpareke temporarily retired from full time employment in 2017 to focus on his PhD study in Innovation Management at the University of Pretoria, South Africa and dedicate his talent, resources and skills for social-impact and research, having worked for nearly 25 years in multiple disciplines and incubated more than five successful ventures in the past 15 years.
